Tom Ronning won both his singles and double matches last week, helping Bethel clinch its third consecutive MIAC playoff berth. Ronning is 11-2 in singles play as the Royals #1 singles player, with his only two losses coming against nationally ranked opponents. He and doubles partner Kent Nichols have only lost once in their past seven matches as well. The MIAC playoffs begin this Friday down at Gustavus.
