John Slick had a stellar week for Bethel while the team was in Ft. Myers, Fla., during spring break. The senior hit .500 (18-for-36), raising his average from .214 to .420. Slick hit safely in all but one of Bethel's 10 games, and had more than one hit in eight games. He hit five doubles, scored eight runs, and drove in 13 runs. In addition to his offensive productivity, he recorded three saves, striking out six in four innings of work while allowing just one run.
