Among the top contenders for the Royals at last Friday's Lee Krough Invitational, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College, was Vanessa Moore (Sr., Grantsburg, Wis.), who earned an NCAA provisional mark in the high jump. Moore's leap of 1.66 meters (5 feet, 5.25 inches) ranks in the top four among other Division III athletes so far this season, and puts her in good position to compete at the national meet in Marietta, Ohio, in May. Moore also earned a fifth place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.39 seconds.
