Royals Tune Up At Hamline Meet of UnSaintly

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team competed at the Hamline Meet of the UnSaintly in Saint Paul on Friday. 

It was another day at the office for Anna Speratos, who achieved the hammer throw title with a 52.68m. Nora Larsen registered a second-place toss of 13.31m in the shot put. Also achieving second-place marks were Michaela Zenz in the 100 meter hurdles (15.22), and Brianna Hexum in the 400 meter hurdles (1:05.26).

A multitude of third-place marks came from Hannah Bingham's 15.27 in the 100 meter hurdles, Adyson Gerbig's 1:06.08 in the 400 meter hurdles, and Raina Kaping's 3.14m in the pole vault. Emily Pearson and Elly Stamp also cleared the bar at 3.14m on more attempts in the pole vault, which put them in fourth, and fifth place, respectively.

Fourth place was in the cards for Morgan Dean, who notched a career-best 59.71 in the 400 meter run. Alethia Olson-Skog led Bethel in the 100 meter dash with a sixth-place time of 12.43.

The Royals will compete at the 2026 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship, hosted bu St. Olaf in Northfield, Minnesota, on May 8-9.
