NORTHFIELD, MINN.—Ellie Hernes and Ally Tyvoll represented the Bethel University women's track & field team at the 2026 MIAC Heptathlon Championship, hosted by Carleton College, on Thursday and Friday.
Hernes broke the school record with a fifth-place score of 4440, which gave Bethel four team points. That defeated the previous school-record mark of 4264 achieved by AnnaGrace Nelson in 2024. Claire Stein (St. Olaf) won the 2026 MIAC Heptathlon Championship with a 4604.
Toyvill's 3567 put her in 16th place.
