RESULTS
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Bethel University women's track & field team competed at the University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invitational on Wednesday.
Anna Speratos broke her own school record in the hammer throw with an eighth-place toss of 55.59, which ranks second in NCAA Division III. That beat Speratos's previous school record of 54.23Â accomplished at the Bethel Gene Glader Invitational on April 16.Â
Nora Larsen's sixth-place toss of 13.76m in the shot put ranks ninth in the country. Anna Hay kept the sixth-place trend going with a career-best 11:30.03 in the 3000 meter steeplechase.Â
Ellie Hernes's 5.61m in the long jump put her in seventh place.
Michaela Zenz achieved a career-best 14.77 in the 100 meter hurdles, good enough for 16th place.
Bethel will send individuals to the Drake Relays on April 23-24, as well as the Macalester Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on April 24-25.
