MIAC RELEASE
ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Junior forward Emily Erickson, graduate student forward Elly Schmitz, and senior guard Colette Duininck were each named to the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team. This marks Schmitz's third career trip (2023-24, 2024-25) to the MIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team while Duininck and Erickson each landed a spot on the team for the first time in their careers after being named Honorable Mention in 2025.

Emily Erickson leads the MIAC and ranks among the country's top 25 with 509 points, 138 free throws made, 165 free throw attempts, and a .547 field goal percentage (180-of-329). The Chicago Lakes, Minnesota native also has a MIAC-leading 180 field goals made while her 18.2 points per game is second in the conference. She also has 5.6 rebounds per game, 30 steals, and 22 blocks on her 2025-26 stat line.
Erickson netted her 1,000th career point in an 87-57 victory over St. Scholastica in the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball Playoff Quarterfinal on February 24, a game that saw her score 25 points. Emily has scored 20+ points in 11 games this season, which included a season-high 29 in a 65-63 loss to St. Scholastica on January 17. She pulled down a season-high 12 boards in a 72-50 win over Augsburg on February 18.Â
Erickson earned January 26 MIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Over 82 career games played, Erickson has 1045 career points on .548 (365-of-666) shooting.
Colette Duininck leads the MIAC and ranks 13th in NCAA Division III with 130 assists, while her 1.63 assist/turnover ratio is third conference wide. She has a MIAC-leading 79 steals while her 2.82 steals per game and 4.6 assists per game each rank second.
The Prinsburg, Minnesota native also has 7.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game on her 2025-26 stat line.Â
Duininck had a rare double double 11 assists and 11 points in a 77-59 win over Carleton on February 14. She finished with a season-high seven steals to go with 14 points and three assists in the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball Semifinal, a 73-66 road win over Gustavus on February 26. Duininck netted a season-high 17 points in a 73-67 win over UW-River Falls on December 13.
Colette was named January 12 MIAC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
Elly Schmitz had a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per game, and is second on the team with 13.2 points per game on .485 (82-of-169) shooting over 18 games played. Her 23 blocks and 30 steals each sit third on the team. The Hermantown, Minnesota native also notched 31 assists and 24.8 minutes per game in 2025-26.Â
Schmitz played the game of her life in a 66-45 win at St. Catherine on December 6 with a season-high 29 points and 16 rebounds. She recorded her second double double of the season in a 77-71 win over St. Scholastica on February 7 with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Schmitz had a season-best four steals on multiple occasions, and had three blocks on two occasions.Â
Elly was named December 22 MIAC Defensive Player of the Week.Â
In addition, senior forward Alli Born, senior guard Rosalie Penke, and junior forward Cally Peterson were each named to the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball All-Playoff Team for their performances over the past three games.
