MIAC RELEASE

ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University softball senior infielder Ellie Baker was named March 30 MIAC Softball Player of the Week. This is Baker's first career MIAC Player of the Week award, and Bethel's first of the 2026 season.

Pitcher of the Week: Ellie Peterson (Saint Benedict)

The Bloomington, Minnesota native finished 5-of-8 with four RBI, and three doubles in the Royals' 6-5 and 11-5 sweep of UW-River Falls at the Ona Orth Complex on March 25. This included a 3-of-4 performance that resulted in two doubles, and four RBI in an 11-5 victory in game two.

Baker and the Royals will travel to Saint Benedict (DH) on Wednesday, April 1. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
