ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's and women's hockey team saw a combined 19 student-athletes earn American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Krampade All-American Scholar accolades. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
"These are exceptional individuals," said AHCA executive director Joe Bertagna. "The sport demands a great deal from these athletes so it is a great statement they make, individually and collectively, with their ability to attain this level of academic achievement while contributing at the NCAA Division III level."
