LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Bethel Royals earned MIAC leading marks, highlighted by the 4x400m relay running the 5th fastest time in Division III this year.
The 4x400m relay team of Sarah Stellmach, Abby Swenson, Hannah Kvant, and Shalom Sulungaine took 2nd place with a MIAC leading time of 3:54.27. That time ranks the Royals 5th in Division III.Â
Sulungaine also ran well in the 400m dash earlier in the day. In the first indoor 400m of her career, Sulungaine placed 3rd place with a time of 57.99. That time ranks her 16th in Division III.Â
Ruby Gernandt opened her indoor season with a collegiate best in the mile. Gernandt took 4th place with a time of 5:22.33. Anna Cargill took 7th in the mile with her time of 5:25.12.
Ellie Hernes took 4th place in her first triple jump contest of the 2025 season. Hernes set a MIAC lead with a leap of 11.25m / 36'11".
Anna Speratos took 3rd place in the weight throw with her best toss of 15.77m / 51'9". Nora Wilhelm took 8th with a throw of 14.43m / 47'4.25".
The Royals will compete next week on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14th at the UW-Stout Quad.
