MOORHEAD, Minn. — Despite a career-high 15 points off the bench from
AJ Kaul and a 17-point night from

Nick Burke, the Bethel University men's basketball team fell on the road against Concordia, 77-69.
The Royals went 25-for-48 (52.1 percent) from the field and shot 50% from beyond the arc, going 7-for-7 from the free-throw line.
Burke grabbed a defensive board and hit a jumper from the paint to put the Royals up 5-0 early in the first half. It'd be their largest lead of the night.
Kaul nailed a three from beyond the arc to make it a 13-11 game with 13:35 to play in the first half.
Down 23-19, Kaul came up with another three-pointer to make it a one-point game at the midway point of the first half.
JT Schradle drove the lane for a layup and Kaul came up with another three ball to make it a 34-32 game. The Cobbers carried a 39-32 into the half.
Nick Burke worked his way into the lane and to the cup for a layup to tie the game at 44 five minutes into the second half.
Adam Mattes hit from beyond the arc to cut the Royals deficit to one, 55-54.
Down six with a 1:37 to play,
Caden Boettcher hit a jumper from the paint to make it a 71-67 game.
