D3HOOPS.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK (WEEK 4)
ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University senior forward Elly Schmitz was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week (Week 3). This is Bethel's first D3hoops.com Team of the Week honor since Bella Williams during week 6 of the 2020-21 campaign. The Royals now have nine D3Hoops.com Team of the Week selections in program history.

The Hermantown, Minnesota native finished the week with 27.5 points per game on 20-of-35 (.571) shooting and a 6-of-11 (.545) clip from the three-point line in a week that included a 77-52 victory over Macalester on December 3, and a 66-45 decision over St. Catherine on December 6. This included a double-double 29 points, 16 rebounds, and two blocks against St. Catherine. In the Macalester game, Schmitz finished with 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting, three assists, and four steals.
Through four games this season, Schmitz has averages of 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds.
The Royals will host Augsburg on Wednesday, December 10 at 7 p.m.
