Devin Williams Named to D3football.com Team of the Week

D3FOOTBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK RELEASE

ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—Bethel University senior defensive back Devin Williams was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance in Week 5, which resulted in a 17-10 victory over No. 4 Saint John's (Minn.) on October 4.

Williams is Bethel's 49th all-time selection to the team, and the first since Matt Jung's honor following Week 11 of the 2024 season.

Williams tied for a team-leading 11 tackles (eight solo) that included one TFL, as well as one interception against the Johnnies. His pick occurred on the fourth play from scrimmage in the game, which set up a scoring drive that resulted in the first points surrendered by the Johnnies this season.

The Fridley, Minnesota native owns 25 tackles (17 solo), two picks, and two pass breakups through four games in 2025.

Williams and the Royals will travel to Augsburg on Saturday, October 11 for a 12 p.m. game.
