DES MOINES, Iowa - The 4x400m relay team of Kelsie Sealock, Abbie Swenson, Annessa Ihde, and Shalom Sulungaine ran a season best time of 3:51.08 to take 9th place. The Royals quartet is #8 on the Division III honor roll.
Kelsie Sealock took 12th place in the 100m hurdles, running her fastest Drake Relays time of her career at 13.94 seconds.
MACALESTER
ST. PAUL, Minn. - Nora Wilhelm had a terrific day in the throwing events, highlighted by a program record in the hammer throw. She threw 47.68m / 156'5", breaking Amanda Passaglia's record of 47.61m / 156'2" from 2017. Wilhelm took 2nd place in the shot put with a season best toss of 12.77m / 41'10.75", and threw a season best 38.29m / 125'7" to take 4th in the discus.
Emily Pearson and Raina Kaping both had outdoor season bests in the pole vault to take 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Pearson cleared 3.50m / 11'5.75" and Kaping cleared 3.35m / 10'11.75".
Jordan Stanisloski took 2nd place in the triple jump with a big personal best of 10.46m / 34'4". Ally Tyvoll took 4th place with a jump of 9.97m / 32'8.5".
Ellie Hernes tied for 2nd place in the high jump with a season best clearance of 1.45m / 4'9".
Reanna Cruz took 3rd place in the open 400m dash with her time of 60.03 seconds.
Jessie Smith ran a smooth race in the 400m hurdles, taking 3rd place behind two Gophers in 66.47 seconds. Hannah Kvant took 5th in 67.94 seconds.
Anna Cargill finished strong in the 800m run to take 4th place with a time of 2:25.41. Ruby Gernandt took 4th place in 2:25.73.
The 4x400m relay team of Reanna Cruz, Hailey Gregg, Kettly Brushaber, and Larissa Minshull took 5th place with their time of 4:14.70.
The Royals will continue with their busy schedule next week, splitting their squad at St. Thomas on Wednesday, the MIAC Heptathlon on Thursday and Friday at Carleton, and Hamline on Friday.
