For the first time since 2007, the Bethel University men's hockey team is set to host a MIAC semifinal matchup when the second-seeded Royals welcome third-seed St. Scholastica to Bethel University Arena at the National Sports Center. Puck drop on Saturday is set for 7 p.m.
Tickets for Saturday's game will go on sale inside Rink 5 at 6 p.m. and only cash is accepted. There will be no pre-sale tickets and only MIAC passed will be accepted.

PLAYOFF HISTORY
• The Royals are making their seventh overall appearance in the MIAC Playoffs and second in the last three seasons.
• Bethel's last MIAC Playoff appearance came against the Saints in 2022 where BU won 4-3 in overtime before falling to top-seeded Augsburg in the semis, 7-0.
• BU is 6-6-2 all-time in the playoffs.
• The No. 2 seed is the best mark since the Royals were the top seed in 2007.
• It will be the first time that Bethel is the No. 2 seed in the tournament.

• Bethel was ranked No. 15 in the latest USCHO.com poll. It's the Royals first ranking since 2007 where they got as high as No. 13
• In the Pairwise rankings BU is No. 13.
• With an 88.0 percent penalty kill mark, the Royals are second in the MIAC and 11th nationally.
• Giving up an average 2.2 goals a game, BU's scoring defense ranks 17th nationally.
