Royals Remain Undefeated, Defeat Blugolds

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Bethel women's tennis closed out its third straight win of the season with a 5-4 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday night.
 
Finding themselves with a 2-1 lead after doubles play, BU pulled out wins in the top three singles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• First doubles team of Lauryn Douglas and Julia Baber won their third straight doubles match by a margin of four or more games, 8-4.
• After trailing 0-4 in the second set, Freshman Michaella Sullivan fought back to close out the No. 2 singles match 6-2, 7-5
• Sophomore Julia Baber's third set tiebreaker went back in forth until 8-6, when she battled hard to win it 10-6 winning No. 3 singles 6-2, 4-6, 10-6.
• Lauryn Douglas stayed perfect on the year taking No. 1 singles in straight sets 6-3, 7-5.
