ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University women's soccer team ran into a tough Carleton squad falling to the Knights Saturday afternoon at Ona Orth Athletic Complex, 6-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Carleton wasted no time getting on the board scoring 94 seconds into the match.
•
Abby Swanda delivered the equalizer finding the back of the net on a free kick from over 40 yards out. It was just the third goal Carleton has surrendered this year.
• The Knights took the lead back in the 31st minute on a strike from 32 yards out that found the upper 90 of the frame on the right side.
• Carleton took a 3-1 lead into the break adding another strike in the 38th minute.
• The Royals were limited to one shot on frame in the second half, taken by
Jessica Oliver.
• Carleton put up three more in the second scoring in the 53rd, 82nd and 83rd minute.

Izzy Smith collected nine saves in 75 minutes of action while
Kate Green had one save playing in the final 15 minutes.
