Royals Draw in Non-Conference Match

MENOMONIE, Wis. - The Bethel women's soccer team came to a 1-1 draw in their nonconference match against the University of Wisconsin-Stout Blue Devils on Thursday night. The Royals stayed steady at 3-1-2 (1-1) on the season. 

 

How It Happened: 

  • Freshman Hannah Kvant claimed the Royals' lone goal of the game just two minutes into the match off of a pass from Kelsey Bergan. 

  • Bethel kept the pressure on UW-Stout, posting 19 shots to Stout's 10. 

  • The Blue Devils managed to find the back of the Royals' net in the 51st minute, evening the score. 


What's Next: 

The Royals return to Ona Orth Athletic Complex this Saturday, September 23, when they host fellow MIAC team, the Carleton College Knights. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m..
