DULUTH, Minn. - Due to cold temperatures the No. 9th ranked Bethel softball team saw its doubleheader at St. Scholastica called off on Sunday. The games were officially cancelled and will not be made up.
The Royals are headed to Carleton tomorrow, Monday, May 8 to complete game one that was halted on Saturday with game two to follow. The Royals lead 2-0 heading into the top of the sixth.
Jordyn Rudolph brought in both runs for the Royals driving in Autumn Earny in the second and Izzy Wilhlem in the fourth. Her first RBI came the game on a single that split the shortstop and third basemen before having a deep enough fly out to center.
Tomorrow's games will be the regular season finale before the Royals host the MIAC Playoffs on Saturday, May 13 where they are the No. 1 seed.
