WINONA, Minn. - The Bethel men's soccer team took on the Saint Mary's University Cardinals in another MIAC match and walked away with their third tie of the season, bringing them to 1-3-2 in the MIAC and 3-5-3 overall.

Bethel came out hard offensively against Saint Mary's in the first half, posting 8 shots to the Cardinals' 2.

Dylan Magistad put the Royals on the scoreboard in the 19th minute, scoring off of an assist from Jordan Ross.

Saint Mary's returned from the halftime break ready to even the odds, putting up 8 shots in the second half while preventing Bethel from scoring on any of their opportunities.

The game remained 1-0, Royals, until the final three minutes of the match when the Cardinals managed to score just after a free kick opportunity, tying the game up, 1-1.

The men's team will take a short trip to Augsburg University next Wednesday, October 11, for another MIAC matchup. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m..
