ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel men's soccer team dropped a single-score match to fellow MIAC team, the Hamline University Pipers, 1-0. BU's narrow loss gave the Pipers their first conference win of the season and moved the Royals to 1-3-1 in the MIAC and 3-5-1 overall.

How It Happened:

The Pipers struck early, capitalizing on a corner kick and scoring on a header in the 12th minute.
The Royals fought to find an equalizing goal, putting up 14 shots to the Pipers' 9, but couldn't find the back of the net.
The Hamline defense and goalkeeper shut down the Royals' offense in the second half and sealed their fate in the 1-0 loss.
