ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel women's soccer team fell to MIAC foe College of Saint Benedict, 3-1, after earning a halftime lead of 1-0. The Royals move to 3-6-2 (1-6).

Both teams fought for possession dominance in the first half, spending much of the game in the middle third of the field.

Though the Bennies managed nine shots on goal, BU goalkeeper Izzy Smith and the Royal defense made save after save to keep them out.

Malia Beilby found the Royals' first and only goal in the 32nd minute after receiving a long pass from Jessica Oliver. Beilby dribbled around a defender and drilled the ball into the upper left corner of the goal, making it 1-0, Royals.

CSB came out with a vengeance in the second half, scoring three times in the first 11 minutes of the period and sealing the final score as 3-1.
