ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University volleyball team finished Wednesday night with another conference win and a sweep over the St. Scholastica Saints in the Robertson Center. The Royals won in three straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-12, and 25-14. Royals improve to 6-12 (3-3).
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set
• Royals dominated on the offensive side of the ball with a .378 hitting percentage combined with 18 kills
• CSS started out hot with a 5-2 lead; with the game tied at 9-9 - BU would go on a 8-3 run to grab control of the set and go up 17-12
• First set had three ties and three lead changes
Second Set
• BU dominated on both ends, keeping St. Scholastica to a .033 hitting percentage, while they boasted a .308
• The Royals would start the game on a 15-4 run taking a full grasp of the set two and a commanding 2-0 lead
• Set two consisted of nine

• Bethel started the third and final set hot - with a 8-3 run with help from three different errors from St. Scholastica
• With BU up 13-10, the Royals would go on a set and match finishing run of 12-4
• BU flexed their muscles on both sides of the ball again, holding CSS to a hitting percentage of .133 while showing a percentage of .344 themselves
