BLAINE, Minn. – The Bethel University men's hockey team erased a 2-1 deficit late in the third before falling in overtime to Concordia, 3-2.
The Royals earned a point in the MIAC standings moving to 4-5-1 in conference play and 9-9-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• A scoreless first period saw Bethel lead in shots 7-4. The nation's third best penalty kill in BU fended off two Concordia man advantages and was unsuccessful on its lone power play despite three shots.

Adam Bricker tallied his fourth goal of the year 2:22 into the second putting Bethel on the board first for the second night in a row.
• Concordia evened it up 1:35 seconds later. The teams went tied into the second intermission despite the Royals outshooting the Cobbers 23-4 in the second.
• Bethel surrendered its fifth power play goal of the season as Concordia scored 41 seconds into a power play that was initiated by a
Ben Brockway interference penalty.

Blake Nelson picked the right time to tally his first goal of the season scoring the equalizer with 3:20 left.
• In the 3-on-3 overtime Concordia was able to get one past
Travis Allen 1:12 in.
• The Royals outshot the Cobbers 40-16.
