NEW ORLEANS – Junior sprinter/hurdler
Kelsie Sealock continues to accumulate postseason accolades being named the North Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Sealock sits at the top of the national rankings in the 60m hurdles with a converted time of 8.56 from her MIAC championship performance in the 55m hurdles. She scored 15 points for the MIAC Champion Royals helping them bring home first place in the 4x200 relay and 4x400 relay.

She competes at the NCAA Indoor Championships this weekend, along with another handful of Royals, beginning Friday. The 60m hurdle prelims are scheduled for 12:40 p.m. CDT.

Along with Sealock, a combined six other Royals earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors.

To earn All-Region honors, an athlete must be one of the top-5 individuals in their respective region on the final TFRRS Descending Order List. In addition, each member of a region's top-3 relay team was also selected for distinction.
