ROGERS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its 2021-22 schedule falling to Division III Southwest Minnesota State.
Grace Riermann and
Sydney Rott picked up the Royals lone doubles point rallying from down 1-5 taking it 8-6.
Each picked up BU's singles point as Rott rallied back from dropping the opening set. The day was highlighted by marathon sets, three which reached the third set tiebreaker.
Macy Voss played in the longest match eventually falling in straight sets after dropping the second set tiebreaker.
Bethel hosts Wisconsin-Superior next Saturday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. inside the Rogers Tennis Center.
