RESULTS
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Royals wrapped up their regular season with a school record and 2 victories at the University of Minnesota. Bethel was the lone Division III school at the meet that included 2 Division I and 2 Division III schools.
Jessica Lilland broke her own school record in the pole vault on Friday night. Lilland cleared 3.58m / 11'9" on her 1st attempt, which placed her 3rd behind 2 Gopher athletes. Lilland's clearance stands as the best jump, indoors or outdoors, in program history, is the top mark in the MIAC, and ranks 21st in Division III this year.
Kelsie Sealock took home the victory in the 60m hurdles as she pulled away from the field in the 2nd half of the race, winning in a time of 8.70. That time now ranks Sealock 3rd in Division III and solidifies her spot at the national championships. Sealock came back at the end of the day with teammates

Sarah Stellmach, and
Mikayla Turek to win the 4x400m relay in resounding fashion. The Royals won the race by 18 seconds and are now the MIAC leaders by 9 seconds with a season best time of 3:55.26. That time ranks Bethel 7th in Division III.
Stellmach had a terrific performance earlier in the day, taking 2nd place in the 60m dash. Stellmach ran a lifetime best 7.87 seconds, a time that leads the MIAC and is currently 38th in Division III this year. Teammate
Jireh Babalola took 4th place in the 60m and set a personal best in the prelims with a time of 7.94. Senior
Ella Eliason was the top finisher for Bethel in the field events. Eliason took 2nd place in the long jump leaping 4.86m / 15'11.5".
Emma Roethler threw the shot put over 42 feet for the 2nd week in a row, placing 7th with her toss of 12.80m / 42'0". Bethel placed 2 athletes in the top-8 in the 800m run.
Annessa Ihde took 5th in 2:18.86 and
Malakai Holloway took 8th in 2:25.44. Both women ran season best times.
Britta Nordberg ran a season best in the 400m, placing 6th with a time of 1:00.35.
AnnaGrace Nelson took 6th place in the high jump, clearing 1.48m / 4'10.25". Nelson also took 7th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.44.
UP NEXT
The Royals enter Championship Season next week. The MIAC Indoor Championships, hosted by Carleton College, begin on Thursday, February 24th with the Pentathlon and Heptathlon competitions. The majority of the meet with take place on Friday. February 25th, and Saturday, February 26th.
