ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – Returning to the hardwood for competition for the first time since Dec. 10, the Bethel University women's basketball team fell on the road to No. 21 Wisconsin-Whitewater, 67-50.

In its final non-conference game of the regular season, BU (5-4) was held to 36.5 percent from the field and were 1-of-9 from behind the arc. The Warhawks (10-3) had their second-best shooting performance of the year at 52 percent and were 4-of-10 behind the arc.

The Royals defense forced 27 UWW turnovers converting that to 21 points on the other end.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Half
• Lydia Hagstrom's layup just over three minutes into the game gave the Royals their only lead of the night at 4-2.
• The Warhawks went on a 9-0 run from that point taking the lead for good.
• After trailing 20-15 after the opening 10 minutes, the Royals got within 25-22 before UWW opened it up taking a 37-26 lead into the break.

Second Half
• UWW's defense kept BU off the three-point line for a majority of the quarter as BU was 1-of-3.
• Emma Schultz had the lone three of the quarter that pulled BU within 53-40 before UWW responded with a bucket on the other end before the quarter expired.
• In the fourth, neither team had a run higher than four points. The Royals struggled shooting (23.1 percent) and couldn't help the cause going 4-of-9 at the charity stripe in the final 10 minutes.
