ARDEN HILLS, MN - Royals volleyball traveled up North to Duluth, Minn. to play the College of St. Scholastica on Saturday Oct. 8. In three sets, BU swept the Saints 25-23, 25-20, 28-26. Bethel continues to add to their win column, improving to 12-6 on the season and 4-1 in the MIAC. 

How it Happened

• CSS had two 4-0 runs in the first set that put them in a sizable lead

• BU battled back with a 7-0 run to take back the lead, which led them to take set one

• Set two started with a quick 5-0 run by Bethel but CSS had a run of their own to take the lead

• The Royals' offense put together a 6-0 run to push them far enough ahead to easily take the set

• CSS had three separate runs of 3-0 or more in a desperate attempt to not get swept

• The Royals managed to tie the set at 24 to force a win-by-two situation

• Two blocks from Abigail Drury won the set and match for BU
