ARDEN HILLS, MN - Bethel University volleyball played their homecoming game against Carleton College on Friday evening. In three straight sets BU was dominant on both offense and defense, scoring 25-15, 25-13, 25-14. The Royals add to their already outstanding record, moving to 11-6 (3-1).

How it Happened

• BU opened with a 4-0 run and kept the lead

• A strong defensive point for Bethel was won by a tricky kill from Grace Solberg

• The Royals soared and broke out into a 9-1 run which kept Carleton out of set one

• Kelsie Sealock made several diving digs early in the second set

• Bethel's offense crippled the Knights in every way with a 11-0 run

• A simple volley from Sealock fell through Carleton's defense, giving her a rare libero kill

• Carleton took their first lead of the match by going up 2-1 in the third set

• Kirstin Cotter led BU on a 6-0 run, breaking away from Carleton

• Despite BU's victory, set three was the tightest it was all night with 8 tie scores and 4 lead changes
