Moorehead, Minn – The Bethel University men's soccer team traveled to Concordia Moorehead for a match up verse the Cobbers. BU dominated tonight on the pitch, scoring four unanswered second half goals. The Royals improve to 7-8-1 (4-5).
How It Happened
- Bethel led in shots 11-4 while also in corners 8-0 in the first half.
- At the top of the 2nd half Bethel connected and scored in the 53rd with a goal by Ryan Swanda assisted by Abdallah Youssef.
- BU caught momentum and Abdallah Youssef assisted Matthias Caspari for a goal four minutes later in the 57th minute
- Improving on their lead, the Royals held possession and scored back to back goals in the 76th and 78th minutes respectively.
- Jack Hanson saw the back of the net in the 76th minute with an assist by Bereket Bereketab and Abdallah Youssef rounded out the game with the final goal in the 78th minute.
- Bethel led the game in shots 20 - 8 and corners 13 -2.
