ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University volleyball team picked up a senior day sweep of Saint Mary's University Saturday afternoon by scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-15. BU improves to 14-8 on the year and 6-3 in MIAC play where the sit tied for second heading into the final week.

How it Happened
• BU had a 4-0 run taking the lead in the first set.
• The gap was only widened when Bethel put up a 6-0 run taking a commanding 18-8 advantage.
• SMU's defense couldn't hold up against Bethel during the second set as BU had three separate 3-0 runs.
• A 5-0 run capped out by a kill from
Grace Solberg put set two out of the Cardinals' reach.
• Set three started immediately with a 4-0 run in favor of Bethel, a second 4-0 run followed soon after putting the Royals up 14-7
• Like the two sets prior, Bethel's offense put up yet another 5-0 run to take the set and the match after hitting .233 in the third set.
