STARTING FIVE
1) Following a 20-day hiatus from competition, the Bethel Univesity women's basketball team returns to the hardwood in Moorhead taking on Concordia (1-2, 1-1 MIAC) in conference play. Bethel (1-1, 1-0 MIAC) will play three games in the span of seven days traveling to Augsburg on Wednesday before hosting Saint Benedict on Feb. 27.
2) Sophomore
Kat Brown-Erdal didn't miss much last time out pouring in a career-high 30 points. In 28 minutes of action the Jordan, Minn. native shot 10-of-15 from the floor while matching a career-high four treys. On top of it she went a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. 10-of-10 for the year, she is one of nine players in Division III who has yet to miss a free throw attempt.
3) Bethel ranks seventh in the nation from the charity stripe where they shoot 81 percent (34-for-42). The Royals were perfect from the line against Saint Mary's going 15-for-15, hitting all seven attempted in the fourth quarter. BU's last perfect game from the stripe came on November 11, 2015 where they went 11-for-11 in a 91-49 win at Principia.
4) Sunday will be Bethel's first conference road test of the year. The Royals opened the season on the road falling to St. Thoams 69-66. In the previous four seasons, BU is 36-12 (.750) when playing in true road games.
5) The Royals are looking for their eighth straight win over Concordia in the series' 51st meeting. Bethel took last year's only meeting in Arden Hills 82-57 thanks to a strong third quarter that saw the Royals outscore the Cobbers 22-8. During the current seven-game winning streak, BU has eclipsed the 75-point mark in each win averaging a 25.8 scoring margin.
