Royals and Auggies Set to Square Off with Skyline Division Crown on the Line

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University football team, ranked No. 14/15 in NCAA DIII, will host Augsburg University in a MIAC Skyline Division showdown that will determine the division champion. The Royals (7-1, 5-1 MIAC, 3-0 Skyline) and Auggies (4-4. 4-2 MIAC, 2-1 Skyline) will kickoff at Royal Stadium at 1 p.m. on Saturday. A Bethel win will give the Royals a perfect 4-0 mark in the division and place them into the MIAC Championship game the following week against Saint John's, the already determined No. 1 seed from the Northwoods Division. An Augsburg win would create a three-way tie for first place in the division with Bethel, Augsburg and Concordia but the Auggies would be the one to take the tie breaker, putting them as the host for the championship game against Saint John's. The Skyline division teams are the predetermined hosts of the championship week games in 2021. BU is coming off a 35-14 win at St. Olaf last Saturday while the Auggies lost their first division game of the year, 44-21 at Concordia.
