RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Bethel Royal's women's track and field team traveled to St. Olaf College for the Ole Women's Invite on Friday evening. The Royals earned several season best performances and took home the victory in the women's 4x200m relay. The team of
Jireh Babalola,
Lauren Richards,
Chloe Doyle, and
Lauren Bonin brough the baton across the finish line in 1:53.41.
In the sprints, Babalola and Richards both placed in the 60m dash. Babalola ran 8.20 for 4th place, and Richards took 5th with 8.37.
Ashley Haxton had a season best time in the 200m as she ran 28.58 which placed her 6th.
Lauren Conradi and
Taylor Finnes earned season bests in the 400m. Conradi took 5th place with her time of 1:03.15 and Finnes finished 7th in 1:04.40.
Syri Williams represented the Royals in the 60m hurdle final and took 7th place with a time of 9.86.
The distance events saw placing from
Malakai Holloway and
Lydia Crow in the 800m. Both women had season best times as Holloway placed 5th in 2:32.09 and Crow placed 7th in 2:33.36.
Anna Hage ran aggressively in the Mile and was rewarded with a season best time of 5:33.24.
Eileen Hess earned a new personal record in the 3k, along with a 6th place finish by running 14:03.67.
Jessica Lilland led the way for Bethel in the field events. Lilland placed 2nd in the pole vault, tying her personal best of 10'6"/3.20m. Outdoor school record holder,
Sadie Koelz, took 5th place with her vault of 10'0"/3.05m.
Madison Dorn also placed for the Royals clearing a season best 9'6.25"/2.90m. Multi-eventer
Jacy Roste led three Royals to the finals of the long jump. Roste placed 5th by jumping 16'1.5"/4.91m.
Grace Perrenoud placed 6th with her leap of 16'0.5"/4.89m, and
Ella Eliason placed 8th by jumping 15'5.5"/4.71m. Perrenoud came back later in the day to place 3rd in the triple jump. On her final jump of the day, Perrenoud jumped 34'1.5"/10.40m. Captain
Lauren Wagner threw a season best in the 20 pound weight throw. Her toss of 42'3.5"/12.89m placed her 5th overall.
The Royals enter their championship season next week as they run, jump, and throw in the MIAC Indoor Championships. The conference meet will be held at St. John's University on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday February 27
