#10 | Men’s Basketball Boasts Program-Best Winning Streak Versus Four-Year Schools

The 2018-19 school year once again provided numerous unforgettable moments for the Bethel University athletic department. From NCAA playoff runs, rewriting the record books and success in the classroom, 2018-19 had it all! #10 | Men's Basketball Boasts Program-Best Winning Streak Versus Four-Year Schools
Shooting an even 50 percent (14-of-28) from 3-point range, the Bethel University men's basketball team defeated Gustavus Adolphus in the MIAC Playoff quarterfinals 93-67 on Feb. 19, 2019 inside the Robertson Center. The victory was the 11th straight for BU which became the most consecutive wins versus four-year schools in program history surpassing the previous mark of 10 that was accomplished during the 1983 season. Bethel moved on to appear in its sixth straight MIAC Playoff semifinal under sixth-year head coach Doug Novak making them the only team in the MIAC to appear in the last six semifinals.
