No. 9 Bethel Hosts Augsburg in Final Game at Royal Stadium

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University football team will wrap up the home portion of the 2019 schedule Saturday when they host the Auggies of Augsburg University. The No. 9-ranked Royals (7-1, 5-1 MIAC) are looking to complete the home schedule unbeaten for the 10th time in head coach Steve Johnson's 31 year tenure. The Royals will honor the 2019 seniors pregame in their final contest at Royal Stadium. Bethel is 9-1 in their last ten games at home. Last week the Royals defeated Hamline 62-7, scoring touchdowns on their first eight possessions and racking up a record 19 tackles for loss. Bethel has won 26 of the last 30 meetings with Augsburg, including last years 75-0 route in Minneapolis. Augsburg enters the game winless in the MIAC in 2019 at 0-6 and 1-7 overall.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
