ST. PETER, Minn. – The Bethel University volleyball team saw their seven match winning streak in which they had swept all seven matches come to an end at the hands of a sweep by Gustavus Adolphus College. The No. 12 ranked Gusties used a 10-0 run early on in the first set to take control of the first set and effectively the match as they won 25-13, 25-21 and 25-15.
Bethel now stands at 12-3 overall on the year and 2-1 in the MIAC. Gustavus is 12-2 and 3-0. The Royals will look to bounce back when they travel to Wartburg College for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. The next home and MIAC game will take place next Friday night at 7 p.m. against Hamline.
