ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel volleyball team put up another solid effort against the University of Wisconsin-Stout, adding another 3-0 win to their streak with scores of 26-24, 25-18, and 25-17. Bethel has now won an amazing 21 straight sets and seven consecutive matches.
 
The Royals started off strong in the first set with a 7-0 run giving them a solid 8-1 lead. Stout then came back to tie the set 10-10. Bethel then took the lead again, but a few mishaps led the teams to tie yet again at 24-24. The Royals did not back down and came back with a huge block and kill to lead them to victory in the first set. The second set started off with BU trailing by a point, but a strong kill led the Royals to an 11-0 run giving them a 12-point lead over the Blue Devils. Another massive block on match point gave the set to the Royals. A 6-0 run early in the third set from Bethel gave them a firm foundation to finish the set solid and end the evening 3-0.
 
Bethel compiled 47 points on 30 kills, five aces, and 12 blocks while also rounding up 28 assists and 74 digs. Maria Claflin had an excellent evening ending with eight kills and four blocks, while Tina Hoppe gathered up seven kills. Hannah Wilhite had a commendable 23 assists and Dominique Dabu accumulated 23 digs.
 
The Royals will be on the road this weekend as they travel to St. Peter, Minnesota to take on Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
