ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The No. 11/15 ranked Bethel University football team hits the road for the second round of the NCAA DIII Playoffs for their matchup with the Cardinals of North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Both teams sport identical 10-1 records on the season with North Central ranked in the Top 10 in both major polls at No. 9. The Cardinals lone loss on the year came at the hands of Wheaton College by a 52-30 score. Wheaton has won five of the last six games played against North Central in the "Battle for the Little Brass Bell" as the Cardinals have lost just nine games over the past five seasons, with five of those losses to Wheaton. Bethel's last two trips in the NCAA Playoffs to the Chicago area have resulted in victories by the Royals. In 2012 Bethel defeated Concordia University-Chicago 24-23 in the first round and in 2010 Bethel downed Wheaton College 15-10 in the second round. Kickoff for Saturday's matchup will be at Noon.
 
Tickets
Tickets will be available at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium (455 S. Brainard St., Naperville, IL 60540) on Saturday morning with the gates scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $4 for students (with a valid college ID), children two and under are free. No other passes will be allowed for the NCAA event.
Fans should also note that nobody is allowed onto the field after the game until an NCAA mandated 10-minute cooling off period for the two teams has expired.
