ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's soccer team once again put together a dominant performance in every facet, beating Concordia College by a 4-0 score. The Royals scored twice in each half while not allowing the Cobbers to get a single shot off in the game. Bethel took 18 shots in the game, seven on goal.
Maggie Sipe got the scoring started for Bethel, finishing a breakaway which was setup by
Britney Monteon in the eighth minute.
Sydney Wight then scored Bethel's second goal off an assist from
Rachel Waterman. In the second half Wight scored her second goal of the day on an assist from Sipe. With the four points scored by Sipe she moved into a tie at the top of
Bethel's career point list with 80 in her three-year career at Bethel. The Royals were not doing scoring as
Lauren Davis scored the final Bethel goal in the 68th minute off an assist from Waterman.
The Royals defense gave the Cobbers no hope throughout the game as they posted their fourth straight shutout and eighth for the season. Goalie
Kaylee Peterson now owns the individual record for most shutouts in a season with six.
