The Bethel Royals lost to the Augsburg Auggies 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex. It did not take long for the Auggies to get on the board when in the third minute of the game Ashley St. Aubin scored on a great individual effort putting the Auggies up 1-0 and they would not look back.

St. Aubin had an excellent game for Augsburg as she scored two of the three goals that helped Augsburg come away with the win. Jada Olson scored as well and her goal was also unassisted.

Augsburg outshot the Royals 10-9 including getting four of those ten shots on goal. Anna Carlson had the only save for the Royals as she replaced Kaylee Peterson in the second half. Despite a very competitive matchup between the two opponents, BU managed just two shots on goal.

The Royals fall to 0-2 in conference and 3-3 overall. They will be back in action Thursday as they travel to UW-Stout. They won't return home until Sept. 30 when they host College of Saint Benedict with kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
