ST. PETER, Minn. - The Bethel University men's soccer team traveled to Gustavus Adolphus College Saturday and could not get anything going against the Golden Gusties as they fell 4-0. Gustavus scored twice in each half while outshooting Bethel 23-6 and 12-6 in shots on goal.
Jakob Bartels made eight saves in net for the Royals.
The loss drops Bethel to 3-7-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the MIAC while Gustavus improved to 9-4-0 and 4-2-0. The Royals return home from a showdown with Hamline University on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex.
