Week 6 Preview: Bethel Hosts Carleton in Homecoming Clash

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — Bethel University hosts Carleton College in their annual Homecoming game this Saturday, October 7. The duel between the Royals and Knights is the 34th meeting between these two opponents. Bethel has had the upper hand since the rivalry began in 1983 as they have gone 23-10 all-time against Carleton, including a 21-2 record since the 1994 campaign. The Knights stunned BU in 2006 and 2008 by a final score of 17-14 on both occasions.

Bethel knocked off Carleton by a final score of 56-8 in Northfield one year ago. The Royals tallied over 530 yards of offense thanks to 292 yards passing and 241 yards rushing. Moreover, BU's defense forced three turnovers and limited the Knights to 276 yards of total offense, including just 52 on the ground. Bethel finished the day with 12 plays of 20 yards or more.
