MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Bethel University women's soccer team scored the lone goal of the game in double overtime to take a 1-0 victory over the Concordia College Cobbers Wednesday afternoon. The Royals and Cobbers played 102 minutes before

The Royals outshot Concordia 8-5 but the Cobbers held a 4-2 advantage in shots on goal.
Kaylee Peterson made four saves to record the second straight shutout and third in the last four games for the Royals. Bethel generated six corner kicks to just one for Concordia.
The win improved the Royals to 9-6-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the MIAC. Bethel still maintains hope of making a return trip to the MIAC playoffs with one game remaining. The Royals return home for the season finale on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. against the University of St. Thomas at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex. A win over St. Thomas coupled with a Hamline victory over St. Kate's could give Bethel the sixth spot based on tie-breakers.
