ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University women's soccer team picked up a 1-0 nothing over the Maclester Scots on a rainy afternoon at the Ona Orth Complex Saturday. The lone goal was scored by
Brooke Ogne and assisted by
Maggie Sipe.
The first half was evenly played as each team played solid defense not allowing a goal for either team. In the second half the Royals got a good chance setup by
Maggie Sipe and
Brooke Ogne finished it off in the 59
th minute that put the Royals up 1-0 which was enough.
Kaylee Peterson notched 4 saves for the Royals and preserved the shutout and the Royals first home win of the year.
Next the Royals will play at Carleton on Saturday, October 21. Their next home game is Monday, October 23 against Martin Luther College with kickoff at 3:30 pm.
