ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Bethel University men's soccer team dropped their third straight contest Wednesday afternoon against Wartburg, 4-0. Wartburg jumped out early in both halves, scoring twice in the beginning of each half. Wartburg ended up outshooting the Royals, who were missing several key players, by twenty and Bethel failed to get a shot on net in the loss.
Sam Asfahl was a highlight for in net for Bethel, making 10 saves, several in spectacular fashion.
The Royals record now stands at 5-5-1 overall. Bethel will be back in action this Saturday as they play Augsburg at 3:30 p.m. at the Ona Orth Athletic Complex as they look for their first conference win.
