The Bethel University women's basketball team exstends their season Tuesday evening, as they travel to Moorhead, Minnesota to take on Concordia College in the first round of the MIAC Playoffs. Following a strong finish to the regular season, the Royals are looking to make their way back to the conference title game where they fell to St. Thomas one season ago. Tipoff against the Cobbers is slated for 7 p.m.

How they got here
Despite starting just 3-5 on the season, the Royals went 13-4 over the remaining 17 games to earn a spot in the MIAC quarterfinals

After losing to Augsburg in the MIAC quarterfinals in 2015, the Cobbers have returned to the conference tournament looking to avenge last season's six-point loss

Bethel University
• Bethel is making its fifth postseason appearance in the last six years with a 2-4 playoff mark during that stretch
• For the first time in three seasons, the Royals will go on the road for the quarterfinal round
• BU has compiled a 7-4 record away from the Robertson Center this season, their best mark in nearly 20 years
• The Royals are 0-2 against the Cobbers this season and just 2-7 over the past five years, they have not won in Moorhead since 2011

• Rachel Parupsky finished the regular season with 9.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game. Parupsky's averaged 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.3 blocks in the last four games.

Concordia College
• The Cobbers are making their 14th consecutive trip to the postseason

• The Cobbers are 11-12 all-time in their 14 overall MIAC tournament appearances with playoff championships in 2001 and 2006
