ARDEN HILLS, Minn.—The Bethel University football team plays host to Gustavus Adolphus College in their fourth (of five) home game of the 2016 season. The Royals (2-4, 2-2 MIAC) are looking for their third win in a four-game stretch, while the Gusties (3-2, 1-2 MIAC) are looking to snap a two-game skid.
Saturday's matchup between BU and GAC marks the 39th meeting between these two opponents. Bethel holds a 21-17 advantage over Gustavus thanks to a 14-2 record since the turn of the century. The Gusties' last win over the Royals came in 2008 when GAC defeated BU in Arden Hills by a final score of 17-10. Bethel scored 13 unanswered points in the final frame last year en route to a 33-24 win over Gustavus.
