Box Score ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The Bethel University men's soccer team was defeated by the University of St. Thomas by a 4-0 score at home Saturday afternoon. The No. 23 ranked Tommies scored once in the first half and three times in the second to pull away from the Royals. Bethel managed four shots, two on goal in the game against UST, who has allowed just three goals and twelve shots on goal all season.
Jakob Bartels made seven saves for Bethel.
The loss drops the Royals to 0-2 in MIAC play and 1-5-1 overall while St. Thomas improves to 1-1 in the MIAC and 5-1 overall. The Royals will be back in action next Saturday when they travel down to Winona, Minnesota to take on the Saint Mary's University Cardinals.
